At RBPML we are committed to improving our Environment and we have put in place an Environmental Management System (EMS) to outline and monitor our plans, responsibilities and actions for identifying and addressing our Environmental and Sustainability issues.
We have an Environmental Committee that is responsible for reporting to the Board and making recommendations based on the ongoing management of our EMS. We set out our Aims and Objectives and are committed to maintaining and improving the economic and social well being of all our staff and contributing towards a sustainable safe and high quality environment in the areas where project sites are based.
We set out to comply with latest legislation, minimise waste at our Office and Project Sites, minimise energy use, maximise the use of local labour and resource, provide training for all our Staff and operatives, plan and minimise transport and we set targets for continued improvement.
At RBPML we have in place a system to Internally Audit ourselves to ensure that we capture latest legislation and adopt best practice in the industry, lessons learned on our projects are fed back into the business and our ways of working developed to continually improve our contribution to the environment.
In order to improve RBPML has put in place this system to ensure that the EMS is effectively implemented by all the Staff. As a minimum the system is reviewed every year and lead from the top by our Managing Director Robert Benson.
