On Friday, 23rd September we held a golf day to raise money for Rennie Grove Hospice Care at Chartridge Golf Club in Chesham.
Despite a slightly grey start to the day, the weather held out and a great day was had by all involved. The day was attended by staff and sub-contractors and the very generous attendees raised over £1,200 for the charity.
The overall winner on the day was Kate Benson with a fantastic score of 38
Nearest to Pin winner was Rish Ignatius and Paul Baverstock made the longest drive.
Only one guest managed to beat the pro on the 10th hole – despite some valiant attempts!
Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a charity providing specialist care and support for adults and children with a life-limiting illness in Bucks and Herts. Representatives from the charity also attended to tell our guests how important every pound raised is, they rely on the efforts and generosity of the community to fund around 91% of their annual running costs.
