R. Benson is pleased to share that we have expanded our head office with the opening of a new office and training suite next to our existing head office in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.

The new office marks a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and reflects our ongoing investment in our people and their professional development.

The need for the additional space is due to a sustained period of growth and the development of additional workstreams including Retrofit and Compliance. With our existing office nearing full capacity, the decision to secure additional space ensures that we  can continue to grow while maintaining close collaboration between departments.

The new office has been carefully fitted out to match the look and feel of our existing head office, creating a seamless and cohesive working environment. We’ve also added more meeting rooms and breakout spaces to promote collaborative working and encourage greater communication between teams.

A key feature of the new space is a purpose built training suite, which will be used for a wide range of courses and professional development activities. Our delivery teams have already taken part in a number of sessions, including Asbestos Awareness and Health and Safety Refresher training, with further in-person sessions planned over the coming months.

We have always believed that our people are our greatest strength, Heather Neal, Accounts & HR Director says. “Investing in their development is essential to who we are as a business. The new training suite provides a modern, dedicated space for learning and sharing ideas, helping our teams to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence.”

As part of the expansion, we have also incorporated several sustainable features into its new facilities. These include energy-efficient lighting, PV panels, improved insulation, and the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging points, which employees can use free of charge. These initiatives reflect the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and supporting greener, more sustainable ways of working.

This additional office space and our upgraded facilities will play an important role in supporting the next phase of our growth. They will enable us to continue providing the high-quality service and industry-leading standards our clients expect, while strengthening our culture of excellence, development and continuous improvement.
