Congratulations to Lee O’Loughlin, Barry Smith and Paul Burgess who successfully completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday and raised over £1,400 for SeeAbility.

Paul crossed the finish line in an impressive 1hour and 53mins, while Lee and Barry soaked up the atmosphere and finished in 2hours and 40mins. Despite the rain and mud they all had a great day and would like to thank everyone who supported them, especially the SeeAbility team who cheered them along the route!

In 2019 R. Benson has raised over £5,550 for SeeAbility to help them provide specialist support, accommodation and eye care help for people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss. We also had the privilege of holding a garden makeover volunteer day to improve the outside space for the users of their Millennium Centre in Leatherhead.

This fundraising event was part of our 2019 fundraising programme which has already raised over £16,000 for our three chosen charities, BRIGHT Cancer Care, Kids Cancer Charity and SeeAbility. Find out more by visiting our JustGiving page.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising programme in 2019.
